About this chick
Hey teammate, I’m Leah.
Like many, running chose me the day I was dry-heaving in the gym mile.
I grew up helping my parents host philanthropic road races for children with autism, cancer, and those in need of wheelchairs. I saw how running could positively impact a community—and that’s something I want to continue to share.
Today, I’m the founder of LDR Coaching (Coaching for Long Distance Runners), and I create running content for YouTube, iFIT, and NordicTrack. I’ve coached runners of all ages and abilities—from Girls on the Run (3rd–5th graders) to Division I collegiate athletes—and now I’ve found my niche working with masters runners and busy moms and dads chasing big goals.
My coaching philosophy is simple: take everything I’ve learned from years of running and working with some of the best in the sport in Flagstaff, and turn it into a training experience that works for you.
Whether you’re running your first mile or chasing a BQ, you’ll have the structure, guidance, and support to train with confidence and purpose—through smart training, personalized paces, and strength and mobility work to keep you healthy along the way.
